UK director appointment information
Treat it as a formal company office, not passive income or ordinary homeworking. Understand the duties, public record and evidence gaps before deciding whether to proceed.
Four facts first
Companies House does not create a lower-responsibility “nominee director” category. A person formally appointed as director remains subject to ordinary director duties.
A contract may allocate day-to-day tasks, but it cannot transfer away the duty to understand relevant matters, exercise independent judgement and use reasonable care, skill and diligence.
If appointed, a director's name, service address, nationality, month and year of birth, and appointment details are generally public. Historic records can remain after resignation.

Verify the provider
The materials available for this site do not independently verify the operating legal entity, company number, data controller, AML supervisor, ACSP status, payment entity, insurance, indemnity or a working complaints route.
A website, Companies House entry, contract or identity-check request would not by itself prove that a provider or appointment is legitimate.
